Qin Dynasty (221-210 B.C.)These Tomb warriors were intended to protect the emporer beyond the grave. Some archeologist believe they were modeled after real solders because they are all unique. Over a period of 36 years, 700.000 laborers constructed an underground city that included a massive lifesize palace and terra cotta army. This included over 7,000 calvery, troops, chariots and horses.
